Funny Halloween Costume 1: A Shadow

Give your friend or partner’s shadow the day off and take its place! Dress in all black, with black gloves and get some black face paint and follow a friend or partner around for the evening. Halloween enthusiasts who opt for a shadow costume would do best to speak minimally. And if the subject you’re shadowing happens to be wearing plain clothes, try to find clothing of the same style in black. A shadow is a fun Halloween costume that’s sure to get a laugh.

A mime is another spin on this costume. Instead of black gloves and black face paint, use white face paint and white gloves. And no speaking allowed!

Funny Halloween Costume 3: Gum on the Bottom of a Shoe

Next, get a yellow marker and some masking tape and create the “center line” down the center of your torso (front and back). Once the tape is in place, use the marker to give the tape a more yellow color.

Next, get a stuffed animal and “kill” it by pulling out some of the stuffing (leave some of the stuffing dangling out for a funny effect for this Weird Halloween Costume). Another option is to get a white or light-colored stuffed animal and use a red magic marker or red food coloring to create “blood.” Once the stuffed animal is “dead,” use a few safety pins to pin it to the shirt. A Dice Halloween costume is perfect for couples and it’s easy to make. Get two large, matching boxes from the shipping store. Use some spray paint to paint the boxes white and once dried, paint on the black dots. Then, cut one large hole on the bottom for the legs/torso (or remove the bottom panel entirely), arm holes, and a hole for the head. The box should rest on the shoulders and for best arm hole placement, wait until the head and leg/torso holes are cut before cutting the arm holes. Then, wear black or white pants and a black or white shirt to complete the look for this easy-to-make last minute Halloween costume.
